Tryouts for Politics Unlimited today ISU students have a new opportunity to express their political opinions and get some TV airtime this year. ISU 9, the ISU student television station, will be holding auditions for its new political show, Politics Unlimited, from 7:15 to 8:30 tonight in Studio B of the Communications Building. Tryouts also will be held from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 17 and from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 24. Kim Claussen, producer for the show, said the group wants to focus on topics students can relate to. “We have ideas of topics right now, but nothing’s set in stone so it’s kind of going to be what people on campus are interested in,” said Claussen, junior in journalism and mass communication. Informational meetings about Politics Unlimited will be held at 6 p.m. today and at 7 p.m. Thursday in Room 1107 of the Communications Building. – Andrea Hauser
