Wednesday is the first day that high school basketball recruits can sign their national letters of intent in the early signing period, and two players signed with the Iowa State women’s basketball team early in the day.

Coach Bill Fennelly announced that Maggie McGraw from Indianola, Iowa, and Gabby McBride from Roanoke, Texas, have officially pledged to to the Cyclones. The two are members of the 2019 recruiting class and will join the Cyclones for the 2019-20 season.

McGraw, a 5-foot-10 inch guard, is currently ranked as a five-star prospect and the No. 45 recruit nationally by ESPN. She’s also a three-time First-Team All-Conference performer for Southeast Polk high school, where she averaged nearly 19 points per game as a junior.

McBride, a 6-foot-2 inch forward, is an All-District player and an Adidas All-American for Liberty Christian High School in Roanoke, Texas.

The two will be added to a roster that loses four seniors after the 2018-19 season.
