The Big 12 announced that TCU has forfeited its next two games due to a limited number of players available to play, meaning Iowa State will win by forfeit and will not play its scheduled game Saturday against the Horned Frogs.

As the Cyclones prepare to take on Texas Tech Wednesday, Iowa State will be leaving this game, regardless of the outcome, with an extra conference win.

The Horned Frogs were scheduled to host No. 7 Kansas State Wednesday, then travel to Ames, Iowa, to play the Cyclones.

Now both Kansas State and Iowa State will gain conference wins, while TCU takes two conference losses due to the news. Per NCAA policy, overall records will not be impacted.
