“Dancing with the Stars: Live!” is coming to Stephens Auditorium, straight from Hollywood, on Thursday.
In all of its glory, dancers from all over the world have competed against each other in this year’s season with special guests Olympians Stephen Nedoroscik and Ilona Maher, actress and singer Chandler Kinney and reality TV star Joey Graziadei.
This year’s audience is in for a treat as the show has an all-new set-up, with the dancers performing brand-new numbers, along with some of the scenes showcased in season 33.
Beginning at 7:30 p.m., the show will feature an array of world-renowned dancers including Emma Slater, Alan Bersten, Brandon Armstrong, Britt Stewart, Daniella Karagach, Gleb Savchenko, Pasha Pashkov and Rylee Arnold. Along with the dancers, Nedoroscik and Kinney will be hosting the evening.
“The excitement of having a full house when the lights go down is what every venue manager wants to have happen,” Tammy Koolbeck, executive director of Stephens Auditorium, said.
Stephens Auditorium hosts “Dancing with the Stars: Live!” annually for a winter show in Ames. In Feb. 2018, the crew was stuck in a car pileup on the interstate due to winter weather conditions in Iowa, and the show was canceled.
Although the show is sold out, a few tickets are available on the day of the show. The ticket box is located at the north entrance of Stephens Auditorium at the corner of Lincoln Way and Beach Ave. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and 90 minutes before show time.
Experience the talent, beauty and pure athleticism these dancers have to offer Thursday at Stephens Auditorium in Ames. Don’t miss out on the incredible experience that is, “Dancing with the Stars: Live.”
