Head Coach Matt Campbell and Iowa State football began their weekend with a commitment from 2019 cornerback D.J. Miller. 247Sports had the news first

Miller, a St. Louis native who attends John Burroughs High School, is a 6-foot, 185-pound cornerback rated as a 3-star recruit by the 247Sports composite.

Miller announced his decision on Twitter, thanking his high school teachers, high schools coaches and the Iowa State staff.

Miller chose Iowa State over Iowa, Ball State and others. According to 247, the Cyclones had offered Miller more than a year ago, and had recently seen him perform at a Lindenwood satellite camp.

Miller becomes the Cyclones’ 10th commitment of the 2019 cycle and the fifth commit on the defensive side of the ball.
