The Inter-Residence Hall Association met and discussed a bill to give Martin hall $1500 at their meeting Thursday night, at the Memorial Union

The bill was presented by Rep. Gillian Gross. The bill requests $1500 dollar to help Martian pay for T-shirt. Gross estimates that between 280-300 shirts will be ordered for the residents of Martin hall.

The shirts would be at no cost to the residences of Martin Hall, as the total cost would be subsidized by the funds requested in the bill from the IRHA.

This was the first reading of the ‘Martian T-shirt bill’. The representatives will bring the information back to their halls to gauge the opinion of their constituents. The second reading and voting on the bill will be next week on February 8th.

Vanessa Kime, NCC, spoke about Destination Iowa State to the IRHA.
