Iowa State football may have five more regular season games in the 2017 season, but Iowa State athletics released the entire 2018 schedule.
The Cyclones will start their season at home against South Dakota State on Sept. 1. Then, they will travel to Iowa City, Iowa, and play in-state rival Iowa at Kinnick Stadium on Sept. 8 where Iowa State lost 42-3 the last time in Hawkeye territory.
Instead of having another non-conference game, Iowa State will play one Big 12 conference game against Oklahoma at home on Sept. 15. The Cyclones defeated then-No. 3 Oklahoma with a 38-31 final score this season.
