The Iowa State volleyball team put on an impressive showing at the Iowa State Spring Tournament on Saturday. The Cyclones played three matches throughout the day against Omaha, North Dakota and Northern Iowa.

Iowa State dropped only one set the entire day.

The Cyclones began their day in Hilton Coliseum against Omaha. The first set began with several lead changes and ties before the Cyclones pulled away to take it 25-17.

Set two was more one-sided in favor of the Cyclones as they took the set 25-14.

Iowa State completed the sweep with a 15-13 win in the third set.

In match two of the day, the Cyclones rolled to a 25-15 win over North Dakota in the first set.

Iowa State fell behind 0-3 in set two against the Fighting Hawks before storming back to take the lead 8-4. The Cyclones went on to win the second set 25-18.

The Cyclones took set three 15-10 to complete their second sweep of the day.

In typical fashion, Iowa State and UNI were in a dog fight.

Iowa State began the final match of the day by taking set one 25-20 over UNI.

In set two, the Cyclones jumped out to a 17-9 lead over the Panthers but UNI clawed back to win 25-23. Iowa State and UNI played just two sets in the match.

Iowa State returns to action Friday, April 21 against Wisconsin in Manchester, Iowa. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
