University Museums to host conversation on ‘Women in the Arts’

University Museums Director Lynette Pohlman will lead a discussion Wednesday on the role of women in the arts.
The conversation, which will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in 1030 Morrill Hall, will feature a panel that will include Jane Cox, professor of music and theatre; Ingrid Lilligren, professor and chair of art and visual culture; Letitia Kenemer, Memorial Union program coordinator I; Deb Marquart, professor of English; and Tin-Shi Tam, professor of music and theatre.
Wednesday’s event is in honor of International Women’s Day. It will celebrate accomplishments of women in the arts within the ISU campus community and discuss hopes for the future, according to the Iowa State events page.
The conversation will be free to attend.
