An Iowa State student reported being sexually assaulted, the Iowa State Department of Public Safety said in a university-wide email Wednesday.

The student was reportedly sexual assaulted by an acquaintance on Feb. 11 at University Village apartments, which are located on campus. 

Iowa State is required to send a timely warning with information about crimes committed on or near campus in accordance with the Clery Act.
