And the winner for Best Picture is La La Land… or is it? 

Last nights Oscar’s were something to remember. With most of the night being a regular award show, there definitely some surprises. Most of the winners deserved to win, but to the shock of some people there were some upsets. If you want to call Casey Affleck winning best actor for Manchester by the Sea, over Ryan Gosling for La La Land, you can but that was the closest award call of the night. The one thing people have to stop doing on these award shows, is bringing up all the politics. People are watching the Oscars for the movies, not the political views of all the celebrities. But for the best or worst part of the night, the best picture award. Like almost everyone knows, they completely messed it up. Mr. Horowitz, the producer of La La Land, noticed the mistake while his team was giving the speech for accepting the award. He said, “there had been a mistake, Moonlight won”. After much confusion, the Moonlight cast and team walked onto stage, and accepted the award in front of a very confused and awkward crowd.
