Iowa State men’s golf finishes 10th at Arizona Intercollegiate

The Iowa State men’s golf team finished the Arizona Intercollegiate Invitational in 10th place, ending with a score of 898 (302-307-287).
Denzel Ieremia led the Cyclones on Tuesday, shooting a 66 in the final round and ending with (75-80-66=221), tying for 20th place.
His final round Ieremia drew six birdies, adding another to his five total rounds shooting in the 60s.
Senior Ruben Sondjaja (75-76-73) tied for 29th, freshman Tripp Kinney (77-78-71) tied for 37th and Nick Voke (75-75-79) tied for 42nd overall to be up with the top-50 finishers.
The Cyclones rallied two spots to finish in 10th place after ending the first two rounds in 12th place Monday night.
The Cyclones will be back for their second event, the Prestige Tournament at PGA West in La Quinta, California, on February 20.
