ISU Softball’s game against No. 9 Oklahoma (40-7, 11-1 Big 12) has been postponed to Sunday at 12 p.m.

It was previously announced that due to weather that the game was to be pushed back to 3 p.m. but as the rain continues to pour that waiting time has been extended.

If the rain doesn’t let up as time gets closer to 4:00 p.m., the game will more than likely get pushed back to Sunday at 12:00.

ISU and Oklahoma played Friday in a rescheduled doubleheader in anticipation of the rain for Saturday, originally the three game series was spread out Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Oklahoma preceded to beat Iowa State twice in that doubleheader, 4-2 and 8-1. Iowa State came out in the first game looking poised but lost that composer in the second game as OU would threaten mercy rule in the last few innings.

The Sooners lead the series 2-0

Keep posted with ISU Daily for any developments to Today’s game.
