Dressing for fall when it’s still hot out

Felicia Dacosta

Fall season has arrived, and the large amount of women who had to bring out their beloved scarves, boots and jackets can relate. No one can judge plaid and burgundy now that autumn is here.

However, once the afternoon rolls around, it’s too hot for a cute bubble vest and scarf. So, here are a few tips on being able to dress for fall without getting too hot.

1. Wear booties with a dress.

The cool breeze of a dress paired with a pair of unique booties makes the perfect fall outfit, and overheating at the end of the day is out of the question.

2. Drape a shawl over a skirted outfit.

Having a shawl adds a cozy feel while wearing a skirt.

3. Flannels.

A red lumberjack flannel in the morning can be shed by mid-afternoon and tied around the waist.

4. Wear tights with a skirt.

Cold morning air and a skirt? No, thanks. Wearing black tights with black booties works like a charm to stop that brisk breeze.

5. Wear a long sleeve with shorts instead of pants.

The perfect combination for staying warm without getting sweaty by the time class starts.
