The Greater Des Moines Music Coalition Hosted Its 5Th Annual 80/35 Music Festival That Drew In 35,000 People To The Streets Of Downtown Des Moines For A Barrage Of Local, National Music Acts. Kum & Go, Hy-Vee Triathlon Sponsored Two Free Stages, While Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Sponsored A Stage That Brought In Headliner Acts The Avett Brothers, and Death Cab For Cutie. The Ames Music Community Was Heavily Involved, From Setting Up Stage Equipment To Performing In A Handful Of Bands Throughout The Festival.
