The big news in construction lately besides Kingland Systems is the two new apartment complexes going up right on Lincoln Way; The Foundry and 23Twenty Lincoln. Both apartment complexes are within arms reach of campus and both seem to be very high-end student living. We thought we’d do a side-by-side comparison so students could see what the two have to offer when they open in 2015. We chose to not include prices in the comparison due to the fact that they can fluctuate and some are not set in stone.

23Twenty Lincoln: Clubhouse with pool tables, TV’s, video game systems and a complimentary coffee bar. Courtyard with fire pits, hammock lounge and BBQ grill areas. Living room will come with a leather sofa and loveseat, coffee table, media center, and HDTV. Bedrooms with full size beds, under-bed storage and cabinets, as well as a nightstand and desk.

23Twenty Lincoln: Fully furnished apartments with a kitchen, granite countertops, built-in microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Private bedrooms and bathrooms with walk-in closets, desks and beds. Side-by-side washers/dryers. HDTV in living rooms with cable package in living rooms and bedrooms.

The Foundry: 2 Bed/2 Bath and 4 Bed/4 Bath apartment options, with sharing options to make 2-bedroom apartments into 3-person apartments.

23Twenty Lincoln: 1Bed/1Bath, 2 Bed/2 Bath, and 4 Bed/4 Bath apartment options.

As you can see, one of the only differences seems to be the number of total bedrooms; The Foundry will have 144 and 23Twenty will have 320. Another difference is that The Foundry’s rent prices include all utilities except for electric, and 23Twenty’s rent prices do not include most utilities. Both apartment complexes very similar as you can see and both are extremely high-end, so their leases may all be filled up soon, so be sure to stop by their offices in Campustown.
