With the Career Fair for Business taking place today, we have the low down on everything you need to know. Taking place at Hilton Coliseum from noon to 6:00pm, employers from all over the nation are here for one thing: you! While this might be your first go-around as far as career fairs go, here are a few interesting employers that will be attending.

Employers who you’ve heard of

In this category we have well established companies that have a reputation for being major players in their respective fields. Examples would be 3M, PepsiCo, and Target. 3M is offering internships for everything from engineering to H.R., and several different analytic gigs. PepsiCo is currently looking for students to fill spots in their supply chain fields. As far as Target goes, I’d suggest finance students to head their way–they need interns for their headquarters in Minneapolis.

Lesser known companies attending

With some of the more major companies being mentioned, let us look at a few companies that you may not be so familiar with, and what positions they are offering. First we have Workiva, formerly known as Webfilings. This Ames–based company uses a cloud system to help manage other businesses’ reports and financial statements. With a brand-new headquarters on University Boulevard, finance, MIS, and the computer–savvy should not hesitate to flock to their booth. Another company to check out would be Uline. They are truly the shipping experts, and if you take a look in any companies warehouse, there is a large chance you will see some of Uline’s products in one shape or another. Offering over a half dozen internships, job areas range from sales and customer service to management spots.

Regardless of what booths you end up stopping by today, make sure to remain positive and keep an open mind. You never know, something might surprise you. Oh, and don’t forget your resume.
