The Iowa State offensive line took another hit this week as team spokesman Mike Green announced starting right tackle Jacob Gannon has left the team for “personal reasons”.

Gannon, a 6-foot-7-inch 306-lbs. redshirt senior, is a three-time letter-winner and has started 13 games for the Cyclones.

Redshirt freshman Jake Campos will likely start for the Cyclones against Kansas State on Sept. 6.

Campos, who Rhoads said made big strides in the offseason, was one of the best recruits in the state of Iowa in the 2013 recruiting class.
