The ISU gymnastics team knocked off rival Iowa by a total of 195.925-192.775 Friday night at Hilton Coliseum

On senior night for the Cyclones (4-8, 1-1 Big 12), a season-high crowd of 3,716 saw six ISU gymnasts give their final performances at home. With the win, the Cyclones also clinched the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk series.

Senior Camille Santerre-Gervais continued her dominance on the bars, taking home the award for the fourth time in the last five meets. Her mark of 9.950 tied the school record and made Santerre-Gervais the fourth gymnast in program history to earn a 9.950 multiple times.

The Cyclones also tallied a team score of 49.275 on the bars, their highest team score on any apparatus this season.

The Hawkeyes (1-9, 0-4 Big Ten) jumped ahead early, leading by 0.250 after the first rotation. The Cyclones fought back, however, taking the lead after the second rotation and extending it through the rest of the meet.

In the final rotation, with the shot at victory still in play for the Hawkeyes, 4-of-6 UI gymnasts fell from the beam, sealing the win for Iowa State.

The ISU gymnastics team returns to action on March 15 in Denver, Colo., to take on the Denver and Boise State in a tri-meet.
