AMES — With the addition of three transfer players, Iowa State’s soccer roster is set for the 2026 season. Head coach Matt Fannon announced the additions of Morgan Duke, Emeline McClenahan and Izabella Tejeda on Thursday.
“We are really happy to add the incoming group,” Fannon said. “They will add depth and quality to our squad and bring excellent competition to improve the team.”
Morgan Duke
Duke, an incoming junior defender, joins the Cyclones following two seasons at Nevada. While with the Wolf Pack, Duke played in eight matches and started two during her freshman season.
Duke did not record any playing time during her sophomore year due to an injury.
Emeline McClenahan
McClenahan, an incoming sophomore goalkeeper, is joining Iowa State after a year with Utah.
McClenahan played in one game with the Utes during her freshman campaign, recording a 4-0 shutout against Westminster University.
Izabella Tejeda
The Cyclones’ final pick-up is Tejeda, a redshirt sophomore midfielder from Oregon.
Prior to Oregon, Tejeda won the 2025 Golden Boot Award as the PCAL Cypress Division Offensive Player of the Year. The Golden Boot Award goes to the player with the most goals in a season.
During Tejeda’s senior year, she played in seven games, tallying 12 goals.
Fannon and Iowa State soccer will kick off its season at home against Colorado on Sept. 17 at 6 p.m.
