Iowa State women’s basketball has once again found itself represented on the Big 12 weekly awards lists, but this time in both categories.

Senior forward Hallie Christofferson was named as the Big 12 Player of the Week while guard Seanna Johnson was named the conference Co-Freshman of the Week along with Baylor’s Nina Davis, the league announced Feb. 17.

It is Christofferson’s second weekly award of the season after earning the same honor on Nov. 11, the first award given of the season. Johnson has now collected four Freshman of the Week awards this season, two of which were in back-to-back weeks.

Christofferson poured in a game-high 29 points in the ISU win against Kansas, also adding eight rebounds. She shot 42.8 percent from the field in Iowa State’s win.

Johnson chipped in 14 points and eight rebounds in the win against the Jayhawks on 50 percent shooting from the field. She has scored in double-digits in 12 of Iowa State’s 24 games this season.

Iowa State will take on Baylor in a game set to tipoff at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 in Waco, Texas.
