Junior center Rosie Gambino announced that she will leave Iowa State. ISU coach Bill Fennelly said she wants to move closer to home and will no longer play college basketball.

Gambino was a junior college transfer and arrived at Iowa State this summer. 

“Rosie [Gambino] informed our staff that she plans to leave Iowa State to attend school closer to home and focus on academics and no longer has an interest in playing basketball,” Fennelly said in a news release.
