Volleyball moves to 2-0 with win over North Dakota at UND Classic

After its 11 a.m. game Friday, the No. 15 ISU volleyball team kept the momentum going on Friday night with another win in three straight sets against North Dakota at the UND Classic in Grand Forks, N.D.

The Cyclones (2-0) played a tight first set winning just 25-22 before blowing North Dakota out 25-12 in the second set and sealing the match with a 25-18 win in the third set.

Mackenzie Bigbee led the way for the Cyclones with 13 kills. She also added one dig. Jenelle Hudson had 37 assists and nine digs in the match for the Cyclones.

Kristen Hahn didn’t quite live up to her stats from the first match of the day but still led the team with 14 digs, while freshman Ciara Capezio added 13 of her own.

The Cyclones have one more match in Grand Forks against former Big 12 opponent Texas A&M at 10 a.m. Saturday.
