Kyven Gadson’s name just keeps coming up, as he was named Big 12 Wrestler of the Week for the fourth time this season.

This is the third consecutive week in which an ISU wrestler has earned the award. Gadson earned it two weeks ago and Tanner Weatherman earned it last week.

Gadson is 20-2 overall with a 12-0 dual record on the season and ranked No. 7 in the nation at 197 pounds by Intermat. He has recorded three-straight pins that started with a dismantling of Northern Iowa’s Blaize Cabell in 4:27 on Feb. 8.

The streak continued with Gadson’s pin against Michigan State’s Luke Jones in 4:09 last Friday, followed by a pin of Eastern Michigan’s Nick Whitenburg in 1:37 on Sunday.
