ISU gymnastics (2-0, 0-0 Big 12) defeated Kent State (0-1, 0-0 Mid-America Conference) in a tight meet on Friday. Iowa State came out on top with a final score of 193.625-193.575.

Iowa State claimed the all-around title as well as two event titles in the meet against the Golden Flashes.

Junior Henrietta Green won the all around title with a final score of 38.775. A score of 9.850 was good enough for senior Elizabeth Stranahan to win on floor exercise while junior Michelle Shealy took home top honors on the balance beam with a score of 9.775

The Cyclones have a weekend off before traveling to take on Minnesota on January 26.
