David Oliver named interim vice president of research, economic development

A new interim vice president of research and economic development has been named, according to a news release from Iowa State’s provost office. 

David Oliver, currently a professor of genetics, development and cell biology and associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, will succeed Sharron Quisenberry, who recently announced her plans to retire.

Provost Jonathan Wickert will be initiating a search for Quisenberry’s permanent successor in the coming months, according to the release.
