Lottery officials said someone bought a $1-million winning Powerball ticket at a Bettendorf, Iowa convenience store.

The ticket was one of only two $1-million winners sold for the drawing that happened Saturday, November 19, 2011. The winning ticket was sold at QC Mart, 1402 State St.

Lottery officials said the ticket matched the first five numbers but missed the Powerball, winning $200,000.

“But the player who purchased the ticket also added the Power Play option to the winning play, which multiplied the prize to $1 million,” said a statement from the Iowa Lottery.

The other winning ticket was sold in New Jersey.

The winning numbers in Saturday’s $59.9 million Powerball jackpot drawing were: 9-16-17-28-30 and Powerball 11. The Power Play number was 3.

This is the ninth time this year a lottery prize of $1 million or more was won with a ticket purchased in Iowa.

But not all of the prizes have been claimed.

The ticket holder from a July 23, 2011 million-dollar-winning Powerball ticket, sold in Ottumwa has not yet come forward.

A $16.5 million winning Hot Lotto jackpot ticket, sold in Des Moines has also not yet been redeemed.

Prizes of $1 million must be claimed at Iowa Lottery headquarters in Des Moines.
