ISU receiver Donnie Jennert was arrested for public intoxication on the corner of Knapp Street and Stanton Avenue at approximately 1 a.m. on Sunday morning, according to the police report.

Jennert, a redshirt sophomore who was deemed academically ineligible for this season, was released at approximately 5 a.m. Sunday morning, according to the police report.

Further details about the arrest could not be disclosed or verified to the media at the time the Story County Jail was contacted.

ISU coach Paul Rhoads said Sunday evening he is aware of the situation, but he will not act until he learns all of the details.
