Michael Allen Trachta, 18, of Ames was arrested Sunday on three Story County Sheriff’s Office warrants for lascivious acts with a child. 

Lascivious acts is defined in the Iowa State Code as any of the follow:

1.  Fondle or touch the pubes or genitals of a child. 

2.  Permit or cause a child to fondle or touch the person’s genitals or pubes. 

3.  Solicit a child to engage in a sex act or solicit a person to arrange a sex act with a child. 

4.  Inflict pain or discomfort upon a child or permit a child to inflict pain or discomfort on the person. 

Through an investigation, Story County Sheriff’s Office detectives determined Trachta had been engaging in inappropriate contact with a 4-year-old female during the course of several months.

Lascivious acts in the Iowa State Code is a class D felony.
