PowerFilm teaming up with the Boy Scouts
May 17, 2010
PowerFilm, 2337 230th St., will sell their products on the Boy Scouts of America’s online retail store, scoutstuff.org, according to a May 11 press release.
The company, which manufactures flexible solar panels, will launch their products on the website sometime this month.
As part of the agreement, PowerFilm engineers teamed up with the Boy Scouts to create a new custom product, available exclusively at scoutstuff.org. The product, a 7.5-watt foldable charger, will benefit the organization, especially now that technological equipment is available that requires a more powerful charge.
“PowerFilm is pleased to expand its association with the good name and high values of the Boy Scouts organization,” said president and CEO of PowerFilm Tim Neugent.
