MEN’S BASKETBALL: Gilstrap’s appeal denied

Iowa State senior forward Marquis Gilstrap’s appeal for another year of eligibility was denied yesterday by the NCAA.
Gilstrap was not told of the NCAA’s decision until after the 82-75 loss to Texas in the Big 12 Tournament, ending the Cyclones’ season.
