The once influx of voters at the Hawthorn Market and Café in Frederiksen Court is steadily decreasing in number.

Within the past 40 minutes, a total of 10 individuals have voted in this precinct.

Voters have been able to get into the booth and cast their ballot within minutes.

At 7:30 p.m., Don Withers, an official at the precinct, said 812 votes have been cast at the Hawthorn Market and Café so far today, and the majority of these voters have been students.

Withers estimated over 150 voters registered at this particular precinct today. And with an hour before polls close, we can expect another 10 students to register.

Of the seven individuals willing to be interviewed, five said they decided to vote for Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., 1 voted for Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and 1 voted for Libertarian Bob Barr.
