Seniors shine in last home meet of 2019 season

The 2018-19 gymnastics regular season ended Friday as the Cyclones faced the No. 5 Denver Pioneers on senior night.

The Cyclones were defeated by Denver 197.225-196.925.

The four seniors shined. Sydney Converse, Madeline Johnson, Kelly Martin and Meaghan Sievers all performed their best in front of their friends, family, teammates and coaches.

Martin earned a 9.800 during the event, marking the fifth time she has a scored a 9.800 or higher this season.

The Cyclones will look onto the Big 12 Championships in Norman, Oklahoma. The Championships will be held on March 23 at 1 p.m. The NCAA Regional Championships will be held on April 4-6 and the NCAA gymnastics championships will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 19-20.
