Iowa Department of Public Health reports 2,000 more public COVID-19 cases for the second day in a row

Another 2,457 individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 in Iowa, bringing the total number of positive cases in Iowa to 233,866.
In addition to the positive cases, Iowa also saw 18 more deaths from the coronavirus, bringing the death total to 2,449 statewide, according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.
Story County saw an increase in cases as well as 48 more individuals have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total to 6,912. The county death count remained at 22.
