More than 1,000 COVID-19 cases reported

Another 1,489 individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 in Iowa, bringing the total number of positive cases in Iowa to 131,733.
The Iowa Department of Public Health reported 17 additional COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 1,734 deaths statewide. In Story County, six more people tested positive for COVID-19 bringing the total to 4,257, with the county’s death count remaining at 18 deaths.
