This fall break, the Emmy award-winning tribute band, The Fab Four, is returning to Ames. The popular Beatles cover band will perform at 7:30 p.m Sunday at Stephens Auditorium.

The performance will include the group’s tribute to The Beatles’ original “Rubber Soul” in its entirety, as well as their greatest hits. “Rubber Soul” is The Beatles’ sixth studio album, released in 1965.

The Fab Four is a Beatles tribute band originally from California. The band has been performing together since 1977. The Fab Four travels and performs all over the country and the world. Though the band has had a couple of changes throughout the years, they have always strived to perform just as The Beatles had in their prime.

The last time The Fab Four performed at Stephens Auditorium was Sept. 30, 2022. COVID-19 guidelines had just been lifted, and masks were no longer required. Throughout their performance at Stephens Auditorium, they performed lively songs with three costume changes meant to portray each era of The Beatles. Their extremely detail-oriented costumes and performances keep them well above all other Beatles tribute bands.

Tickets will be available for purchase through Ticketmaster or through the Stephens Auditorium ticket office, which is located near the north entrance of the auditorium near the corner of Lincoln Way and Beach Avenue. Tickets are on sale for $59.90, $44.50 or $29.50 with additional fees and taxes and can be purchased 90 minutes before the show. The hours for the auditorium are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
