We did it, Cyclones! Big 12 Championship and Arlington, Texas, here we come. Check out the Daily’s guide to the city of Arlington for all of the fans traveling to watch the 11 a.m. game Saturday.
The Cyclones will take on the Arizona State Sun Devils at AT&T Stadium, the usual home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. The stadium is covered by a retractable roof, with a capacity of about 80,000 people. Parking around the stadium for tailgating and attending the game can still be purchased under the name Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship Game on websites like SeatGeek.
For drinks and food before and after the game, try some of the spots around AT&T Stadium, including The Tipsy Oak for bar food, or a more upscale restaurant like Meehan’s Chophouse. There is also a famous arcade in the area called “Cidercade Arlington,” which is the highest ranked on different review websites.
The nightlife may be good in Arlington, but guests to the state can also drive about a half hour to get to the city of Dallas. For more information about where to head in Dallas, check out the ultimate Dallas bar guide from D Magazine here.
