No.17 Iowa State women’s cross country team finished ninth at the 2018 Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invitational. The Cyclones knocked off two ranked teams ahead of them nationally in No. 6 N.C. State and No. 13 Penn State.

The Cyclones were led by sophomore Callie Logue and senior Anne Frisbie. Logue finished 21^st individually in a time of 20:08.2, while Frisbie finished in 31^st with a time of 20:22.7. Sophomore Karly Ackley and senior Abby Caldwell came in neck to neck. Ackley finished in 98^th with a time of 21:11.3 and Caldwell finished in 99^th place with a time of 21:12.6. Erinn Stenman-Fahey finished in 200^th place individually with a time of 22:32.4.

During the “B” Race, Iowa States Morgan Gigandet, Gwynne Wright, Larkin Chapman and Adriana Kramme all had great races this afternoon. Gigandet led the Cyclones finishing in 34^th place, followed closely by Wright who finished in 36^th. Chapman finished 42^nd individually and Kammerer finished in the top half finishing in 56^th.
