Indie pop group lovelytheband kicks off the year supported by BANNERS. Hailing from West Hollywood, lovelytheband debuted their first EP in 2017, with their song “Broken” currently sitting at over 25 million listens on Spotify. The trio dropped their first album earlier this August, putting ISU as one of their first stops on their Broken Like Me tour.

ISU AfterDark continues its tradition of offering free activities, including performers, arts and crafts, bingo, bowling, karaoke, and most importantly, food. Headlining the event is stand-up comedian Pete Davidson best known for his time on “Saturday Night Live” and appearances in “Brooklyn 99” and “Wild ’N Out.” He is joined by fellow comedian Alice Wetterlund, who is best known as a recurring cast member of “Silicon Valley” and MTV’s “Girl Code.”

 

“Black Panther” Parking Ramp Movie

Rock and roll icon Ringo Starr, joined by his All-Starr Band will be stopping at Stephen’s Auditorium as part of their 2018 tour. Joined by former members of Toto, 10cc, Santana, Ringo Starr leads the band in performances of some of their greatest hits, including tracks from The Beatles.

 

Grandma Mojos Moonshine Revival

This student-run improv comedy troupe meets select Wednesday nights every month, entertaining with skits, games, and sometimes even a little bit of rap.

 

Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers w/ Juice

Self-proclaimed “multi-genre” band, Joe Hertler, and the rest of The Rainbow Seekers create upbeat Motown tunes supported by a large array of instruments. Their mission? Spreading joy wherever they perform. Seven members strong, supporting act Juice blends rock, hip-hop, and R&B, playing sweet and groovy tracks.

Harold López-Nussa Trio

Out of Havana, Harold López-Nussa integrates jazz with his roots in Cuban culture. He gained national attention in 2005 when he won top honors at the Montreux Jazz Piano Competition. López-Nusa’s 2016 album “El Viaje” reached the number 1 position on iTunes’ jazz charts on its debut.

Indie rock band Vinyl Theater believes that everyone has the power to reform their personal limitations, an idea that is told through their most recent album “Origami.” The group has headlined Summerfest in their hometown of Milwaukee, and has toured with Twenty One Pilots. Vinyl Theater is joined by dance pop band Royal Teeth and pop rock group The Catching.

Renowned actors and comedians, Steve Martin & Martin Short join together for “An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life.” The duo’s show features jokes, musical numbers, and a look at life in showbiz. Since starting his career in 2014, hip-hop artist Michael Christmas has already toured in direct support for Logic and Mac Miller. MTV has described Christmas as “Your favorite every-day rapper,” his grounded lyrics portraying a more relatable lifestyle than that of most rappers.

 

Matthew Perryman Jones w/ Molly Parden

Breaking into the music scene in 1997, singer-songwriter Matthew Perryman Jones honed his sound growing up in Atlanta and eventually living in Nashville. The M-Shop is just one of the first stops on Jones’ national tour promoting his new album releasing Sept. 21. Jones is joined by folk artist Molly Parden.
