Next on the schedule is the prestigious Maui Jim Maui Invitational. The tournament opens on Nov. 12 with a game in Ames against Texas Southern.

A week later, Arizona awaits the Cyclones in Hawaii for an 8 p.m. tip-off. The rest of Iowa State’s Maui Invitational schedule will depend on the results.

Upon return, Iowa State hosts Omaha on Nov. 26 and North Dakota State on Dec. 3.

The annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk game is scheduled for Dec. 6 in Iowa City. After the rivalry game, Iowa State faces Southern at home.

In the final year of the Hy-Vee Classic, Iowa State matches up with Drake in Des Moines on Dec. 15.

To close the non-conference season, Iowa State hosts Eastern Illinois on Dec. 21 in Hilton.

The Cyclones also have the SEC/Big 12 Challenge sandwiched in the middle of the season. Iowa State will go to Oxford, Mississippi, on Jan. 26 to play Mississippi.

The men’s basketball schedule release comes one day after the women’s non-conference schedule was released.
