AMES — On3 Sports reporter Talia Goodman announced on March 24 that members of the Cyclones women’s basketball team plan to enter the transfer portal.
Iowa State’s household name junior center, Audi Crooks, announced on Thursday her intent to depart from Ames as she looks to hit the transfer portal.
This season, Crooks played in 31 games while averaging 25.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists. As a Cyclone, Crooks created the “Audi Crooks effect” and brought Iowa State to become the most-watched collegiate women’s basketball team in the Nation in January.
Redshirt junior Kenzie Hare joined her fellow Cyclones in the transfer portal on Monday. This season, Hare played in all 24 games and averaged six points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game.
March 26 marked the addition of junior forward Alisa Williams to the list of Cyclones transferring out of Ames. Alisa Williams played in all 32 games while averaging 4.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game this season.
March 25 afternoon, junior guard Jada Williams announced via an Instagram post that she will enter the transfer portal. This will be Williams’ second time in the transfer portal following her transferring from Arizona to Iowa State.
As a Cyclone, Williams played in 32 games and averaged 15.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game. Williams also held an 80.5% free-throw percentage.
In the evening of March 24, junior forward Addy Brown announced she will be entering the portal. As a Cyclone, Brown averaged 13.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists.
Goodman also reported on March 24 that guards freshman Reese Beaty, sophomores Aili Tanke and Reagan Wilson, and junior center/forward Lilly Taulelei were planning to enter the transfer portal.
Wednesday saw the addition of freshman Freya Jensen, who averaged just 1.6 points per game this season, to the list of expected student-athletes to enter the transfer portal.
Beaty saw playing time in 27 games, averaging 4.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 20.5 minutes per game.
Tanke played in seven games, averaging 0.9 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.5 assists.
Wilson played in 28 games in the 2025-26 season and averaged 2.5 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game while playing nine minutes per game.
Taulelei saw playing time in 21 games during the 2025-26 season, averaging 2.6 points, one rebound and 0.3 assists while playing 5.6 minutes per game.
