The Iowa State women’s golf team’s season ended on Wednesday after failing to finish in the top six of the Madison Regional.

The Cyclones shot 14-over-par over three rounds to finish 10th out of 18 teams. On the second day of the Madison Regional, Iowa State was led by junior Chayanit Wangmahaporn, who shot 3-under-par 69.

After Wangmahaporn’s strong start on day one, she struggled on the final day, shooting a 5-over-par 77.

Senior Celia Barquin Arozamena led the Cyclones on the final day with a one-under-par round of 71. Senior Nattapan Siritrai maintained consistency, managing to shoot par on 12 of 18 holes.

To round out the Iowa State team, sophomore Amelia Grohn shot 6-over-par and freshman Alanna Campbell shot 3-over-par.
