With the new addition of Georges Niang, the Utah Jazz are expected to make room by waiving Naz Mitrou-Long’s two-way deal, according to Cody Taylor on Twitter.

On Dec. 22, Mitrou-Long signed a two-way deal with the Jazz after playing in their G-League, the Salt Lake City Stars, for 20 games.

During his time with the Jazz, Mitrou-Long played in one game for 31 seconds and connected on one 3-pointer against the Denver Nuggets on Dec. 26.

The Jazz may try to bring Mitrou-Long back as a player on the Salt Lake City Stars once again.
