Iowa State cornerback arrested– On Thursday, the Cyclone’s redshirt defensive back Brian Peavy was arrested on accounts of criminal mischief and interference with official acts.

Volleyball: The Cyclones ended their Senior Day with a win by beating Texas Tech 3-0 on Saturday.

Women’s basketball: They Cyclones fell 81-61 to Central Michigan on Saturday during the Junkanoo Jam in the Bahamas.

Iowa State drops lawsuit– Iowa State dropped its appeal to a four year lawsuit over events that happened in 2012 after the Des Moines Register published an article featuring former Iowa State students and their cannabis shirts.

Two more greek chapters sanctioned– Beta Theta Pi and Delta Tau Delta have been sanctioned by the Office of Student Conduct. Both have been sanctioned for misuse of alcoholic beverages and controlled substances, contempt and violation of conditions of recognition. Delta Tau Delta was also sanctioned for violation against ISU non-retaliation of person reporting misconduct. These sanctions make the total number of greek chapters sanctioned 42 out of 46 total sanctions.
