Iowa State players and fans react to controversial ending in Oklahoma State loss

Iowa State suffered a 49-42 loss to Oklahoma State after a controversial play in the end zone resulting in an Oklahoma State interception with less than a minute remaining in the game.

Iowa State wide receiver Marchie Murdock and the Oklahoma State defender both appeared to come down with the ball, but even after review the play was confirmed as an interception. 

Murdock tweeted his thoughts on the call shortly after the game. 

Murdock referenced the rule of simultaneous possession, which dictates what should happen if both a receiver and a defender catch the ball at the same time.
