Iowa State football will NOT host ESPN College Gameday

After Iowa State defeated Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas, it improved its record to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the Big 12. Many fans and players thought ESPN’s College Gameday would make a trip to Ames, Iowa, for the first time in Cyclone football history.
That answer is a no.

The College Gameday crew will be heading to Columbus, Ohio, to host the Penn State at Ohio State game.
Iowa State will play TCU at Jack Trice Stadium at 2:30 p.m. Saturday on ABC or ESPN2.
