58 people had died and 515 people were injured at the hands of a gunman in Las Vegas, NV. The shooter opened fire on a Jason Aldean concert taking place in the Vegas Strip from a window of a nearby high-rise hotel.
June 12, 2016
49 people were killed and another 8 injured by gunman Omar Mateen in Orlando, FL. Mateen opened fire at a gay nightclub named Pulse as they were hosting a Latino night. At the time it was considered the deadliest terror attack since 9/11 and deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

In San Bernardino, CA 14 people were murdered with 22 injured at the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health during a holiday party. The two shooters, Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik were married. Farook worked at the location prior to the tragedy.

At Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, CT 20 children and six adults were shot and killed with one injured. The gunman was 20-year-old Adam Lanza. Before the attack, Lanza also shot and killed his mother in their home. Lanza also shot and killed himself in the school.

13 were killed and 30 were injured at the Fort Hood army base outside of Killeen, TX by U.S. Army Maj. Nidal Hasan. Hasan was convicted after the shooting and sentenced to death.

A student a Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA opened fire on the university’s campus, killing 32 and injuring 17. Seung Hui Cho, the shooter, committed suicide after his attack.

Shooter George Hennard initially crashed his pick-up truck into the wall of Luby’s Cafeteria in Killeen, TX. He then fatally shot 23 people at the restaurant before turning the gun on himself and dying.

Postal worker Patrick Sherrill opened fire for less than 15 minutes on his co-workers. He fatally shot 14 postal workers while injuring six more before committing suicide.
July 18, 1984
21 adults and children were fatally shot at a McDonald’s in San Ysidro, CA. James Huberty, the gunman, was shot down by police following the attack.
Aug 1, 1966
Former U.S. Marine, Charles Joseph Whitman, fired and killed 16 individuals at the University of Texas in Austin. He shot from a university tower, and was gunned down by police at the scene.
