Iowa State has been on a roll the past couple of weeks with a win at then-No. 3 Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. Then, a win at home against Kansas. And finally, getting the victory against Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas.

These three victories have led to the Cyclones being ranked No. 25 in the AP Poll. The NCAA released the poll at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The past week, Iowa State was ranked 28th, just outside the top-25 and a win against Texas Tech pushed them into the top-25.

This is also the first time since 2002 that Iowa State has started the season 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the Big 12.

Iowa State will host TCU this upcoming weekend to try and earn a sixth win and become bowl eligible. It’s also the Cyclones’ homecoming weekend.
