Big 12 media representatives elected two Iowa State senior players to the 2017 Preseason All-Big 12 Football Team.

Wide receiver Allen Lazard and safety Kamari Cotton-Moya received the honors on Wednesday.

Lazard has solidified himself in the Cyclone record book, ranking second in school history for receptions (170),  third in receiving yards (2,419) and second in touchdowns (16).

Cotton-Moya has anchored Iowa State’s defense the past couple of years, collecting 27 career starts.

Cotton-Moya collected a team-leading 58 tackles, ranking him 12th nationally. Cotton-Moya also had a knack for turnovers, leading the team with three.

In 2016, Lazard landed First-Team All-Big 12 honors, while Cotton-Moya received Second-Team honors.
