Lincoln Way lanes to close overnight near campus

Parts of Lincoln Way near Beach Avenue and between Welch and Hayward Avenues will be closed overnight Wednesday and Thursday.
The westbound lane with close on Lincoln Way from Welch Avenue west to Hayward Avenue. Work in the area will begin at 7 p.m. each night and completing around 6:30 a.m. each morning. One lane of traffic westbound will remain open during the work, along with all eastbound lanes.
Work on the sanitary sewer line near Beach Avenue will begin July 5 overnight. The eastbound inside lane and turning lane, along with the westbound outside lane and turning lane, will be closed through the overnight hours on Wednesday and Thursday.
One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained throughout the project. Work is anticipated to begin sometime after 11 p.m. each night and be completed around 6:30 a.m. each morning. All lanes should be accessible the morning of July 7.
The City has contracted with Hydro-Kleen for the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation project to clean and televise sanitary sewer lines throughout the City, according to a release. For more information, contact the main Public Works Office at 515.239.5160.
